Open Sunday Aug 6th 12 - 2 pm. This 1959 mid century modern home was an Architectural Record home of the year. From the Zen Garden entry to the pinwheel floorpan, architect Norman Carver combines light and space to create a peaceful atmosphere and beautiful views of the 1.42 acre wooded cul-de-sac lot. The great room's clerestory windows illuminate the formal dining area and living room centered around a copper accented fireplace. A custom kitchen, screened porch, office, primary bedroom with full windowed wall and large built-in closets, 2nd bedroom and full bath complete the main floor. The walkout level delivers a large rec room, 3rd bedroom, 2nd full bath and flex room. Current owners have done significant restoration work and literally wrote the book on the architect in 2019.
