Built in the 1920's, the home maintains the original Spanish-style charm with original built-ins, hardwood floors, and details. The main bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom is set up as an office with a sleep-able couch (turns into a ~full/queen-sized bed) for guests. We have a big, grassy backyard, a brand new washer/dryer, great appliances (just no microwave), central heat and AC, recently remodeled bathroom (with heated floors) a sweet front porch, and plenty of street parking with our neighborhood permit. We're in the lower floor of a duplex, and our upstairs neighbors are amazing! We are in truly the best location in Silverlake - one block from the reservoir in one direction, and one block from the shops and restaurants on Silver Lake Blvd in the other (please note the Craigslist map approximation is incorrect). As one of us is a native New Yorker, it's the only place in LA we would live because of the walkability and proximity to so many great restaurants and things to do. By car, we're 10 minutes from anything on the east side (Los Feliz, Silver Lake, Echo Park). We love living here and know you will too!
