This historic, 1907 home is ready for its newest tenants. Sitting between the Proctor and Old Town neighborhoods with views of Puget Sound from the living room, you'll always have something to do. Walk out the front door and head west and you'll be in Proctor in five minutes. Maybe you decide to bowl at Chalet Bowl and grab a cone at Ice Cream Social afterwards? Or you meet up with friends for a sandwich and beer at Peaks & Pints. (Perhaps most helpful is being able to grab a nice gift at Lapis and Compass Rose on short notice.) Feeling like some exercise? Head out the front door and go east down 30th to Old Town. Summer tip: grab food and cocktails at Proof and then watch a free concert in the park. Access the history of Tacoma and the water from Old Town, where T-town got its start back in the 1800s. Remember the exercise part? You'll understand once you start walking back home from Old Town. (Hey, at least you don't need to go to the gym for the stair climber.) Want to just hang out at home? 2913 North Alder is perfect for that too. Walking in the front door, you'll be in the dining room which acts as the hub in the house. There is a larger bedroom with a closet and a smaller bedroom. Moving to the front of the house, you'll find a nice living room with water views. Working towards the back from the dining room takes you through the kitchen to the bathroom and pantry. The pantry has a door to the backyard and access to the mudroom and unfinished basement with washer/dryer and mechanicals. How do the landlords know so much about the neighborhood? We live in the area too! Which means that all of the yardwork is included in the rent and fixes to any issues happen quickly. What's new for 2026 since we purchased it: -- range -- microwave -- kitchen sink/faucet -- garbage disposal -- interior paint in half the house -- thermostat -- washer/dryer -- lighting -- basement cleaning -- crawlspace cleaning -- gutter repairs -- blinds (We treat this house as if we'd live in it.
