    Our family just purchased a newly renovated property centrally located in Berkeley, 5 minute walk to the Ashby bart station. It has a nice little back garden that awaits your green thumb, but also requires low maintenance if you just want to use it for a few lawn chairs.(the actual address is 2917, I had to put 2916 because it is connected with the sale and not let me list as a rental at the same time) This house is structured as 2 separate units, with the back unit having its independent entrance in the yard as well as a separate kitchen and bathroom. The front unit has Kitchen/Living room areas and 2 bedrooms and Bathroom. The washer/dryer are in the bathroom of the front unit. It is ideal for a group of 3-4 flatmates(or a single family) who would not mind hanging in the yard/common space, be connected within the house, share laundry; but also wants some separate living/cooking quarters. We prefer to rent to a group of tenants together under one lease that you are jointly responsible for. It would also be ideal if you are looking to liven up the yard and use it to practice some green thumb(right now it is artificial turf) There is one off street parking and the rest is street parking. Wall unit heating; no cooling. We are looking for long term tenants with combined income at least 2.5 times the monthly rent. 1.5 month deposit required. Proof of income paystub/references/credit report+application; Available early or mid February Pets will be considered on a case by case basis(will incur additional $100/month pet fee if approved). Tenants responsible for all embud and utility and garden maintenance costs(if you choose to make a garden, right now it is low maintenance artificial turf). The house is available to show on 2/6 when the closing is complete. for now, I can send you videos, (you do not need to pay anything until you can see it in person and we agreed on a contract, not a scam here) Either I or Patrick can show you.
