I grew up in Philadelphia then migrated west in 1985 to teach at university after earning my doctorate at Temple University. I had been a teacher and program administrator in Philadelphia. I was the crazy lady who took her 6th graders to Mexico to make the study of Latin America real! In retirement, I write bilingual kids' books to benefit non-profits in and around San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
