Location, Location . . . In this case, the location could not get any better!! AVAILABLE in or around mid FEBRUARY forward, ask for VIDEO TOUR!! THIS apt is an INTERMEDIATE term rental so it is typically rented only for periods between **one and eight months and generally to people looking for somewhere to stay during internships, short-term job assignments, or transitional periods while they are searching for something more permanent. Move-in and move-out timing is somewhat flexible. Please reply to this ad with as much information as possible about yourself, what brings you to SF, and, importantly, your desired move-in date and lease length and the amount of flexibility that you have with those dates. This furnished studio apartment in a classic SF Edwardian building is located just a few blocks from the waterfront at Marina Green. Walk just a few minutes to Crissy Field and all of the other fantastic recreational opportunities at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge. Walk, jog, bike, sail, kayak or just hang out and enjoy the amazing views and the frolicking sea lions. This fully furnished, newly remodeled second floor studio apartment has everything you need to make your stay in San Francisco much more comfortable and much more affordable than hotel options. The apartment has high nine-foot ceilings, beautiful hardwood floors throughout, loads of natural sunlight in every room, and soaring Bay windows overlooking a quiet, tree-lined street with a French bistro, a neighborhood sports bar and a couple of delis. Unlike most studios (which typically separate a tiny kitchen from your living area with a countertop), this apartment has a very large eat-in kitchen that is an entirely separate room from your living area, with its own doorway and own large window. The kitchen also has new granite countertops and maple cabinets, a large kitchen table with four chairs, and new full-size stainless appliances, including a gas stove/oven and a dishwasher. The kitchen is very well appointed with cookware, glasses, plates, utensils and everything else you may need. The sofa bed is very high-end and comfortable, with an air over coil mattress, similar to a sleep by numbers. I can send you a video of how the Air Dream mattress operates. The tiled bathroom is also spacious and full of light, with its own window as well. The full-size bathroom has a comfortable bathtub and shower. No scrunching up in tight spaces around the tub or toilet! This quiet studio is located just two short blocks from the Palace of Fine Arts, and just outside of the Lombard Gate to the Presidio National Park. Just outside of your front door and right around the corner, you will have the Presidio as your personal playground: acres of lush green space and towering Eucalyptus trees, hiking trails and paths, gardens, ponds, and museums. Just a five minute walk to all the great boutique shopping, fine restaurants and fun bars on Chestnut and Union Streets, including several of the most notable restaurants in San Francisco. Only steps away from brunch or dinner at the Baker Street Bistro, a charming French bistro, or to watch the game at the Final Final neighborhood sports bar. Or, walk just a couple of blocks to Chestnut Street to dine at A-16, Delarosa, and many other great restaurants and bars. (a large number of San Francisco Chronicle's Top 100 Restaurants in San Francisco are located right here!) Transportation from here around the city is a breeze. You can take the FREE PRESIDIO SHUTTLE practically from your doorstop at the Presidio (the Transit Center near the park entrance) all the way downtown to the foot of Market Street! Or use the Presidio shuttle to explore from point to point around the park. There are also several city bus stops within a block or two of your front door, for bus lines that can whisk you directly to North Beach, Chinatown, or downtown San Francisco. There is a city express bus to the Financial District. Other spots that are a walk or bike ride away include Fisherman's Wharf, Ft. Mason, Baker Beach, Fort Point, and Lands End. The neighborhood is very walkable (92 walk score), and very bikeable (87 bike score), with excellent transit (76 transit score). Utilities and high-speed internet included; smart TV with built-in access to Netflix, Pandora, Hulu and others; Blue-Ray player. Towels and linens included. There are a large number of dry cleaners and laundry facilities within a block or two. One of them is next door and another just a few doors down. They do wash and fold laundry by the pound for about $1.50/lb. There are also a number of very clean, safe and upscale coin-operated laundromats within a couple of blocks, in the midst of a bunch of cute small groceries and delis, so getting laundry done is very inexpensive and convenient. Security: This area is widely regarded as the safest neighborhood in San Francisco. In addition, the front of the building is gated with doorbell, the entry door beyond the mailbox area is also kept locked, and the apartment has lock and deadbolt. You can buzz your visitors in with the press of a button. The neighboring tenants (there are only six units) are quiet and friendly professionals. Parking: No parking space included. Public transportation is the best option, but if you do have a car, street parking in this neighborhood is typically quite easy to find (most of the homes here have their own garages, and there are no apartment or condo complexes). The city can give you a temporary neighborhood parking pass that is good for up to three months at a time. It is also not difficult to find nearby parking in this neighborhood that you can lease by the month. Another option for parking is to park in the nearby Presidio Park for only $6 per day. Rent: $155/day for rental periods under one month (30 days); $2200/month for one to eight months. Absolutely no pets or smoking. Maximum two tenants. all utilities paid, including high speed internet. Absolutely no pets, no smoking.
