Mr. O'Reily was in real estate & timber. Most all of the pine & cypress in the house is from the Palatka area. The plans for the stable were said to have come from Kentucky. There was once a regulation size show ring just west of the stable. The original property went from the lake to Moody Rd. This remaining property of 17 ac. was purchased in 1951 by John A. Bryson & used for pleasure horses until 1989. The Hambricks began restoration in 1990 & changed the stable to a residence using great care to retain it's original structure & still be functional as a home on 1/2 ac.
