Our home is one of three built in 1890 by Mr. Hollander of Hollander Construction for his 3 daughters. They are the only houses on this street which sits on the banks of Clarks Pond. Ours is the middle house. The back of the house has two porches the entire width of the house. The bottom is screened and the top is a finished three season. Hollander is the back street connecting Melrose & Elmwood. No traffic, only the sounds of nature. Six of the eight houses in this neighborhood are occupied by the same family members going back to the 1960's. No one wants to leave and many want to come back. A plus sign for our home is the pellet stove and generator. It is a home and a neighborhood that anyone would want to be a part of.
