This is one of the only original Levittown Levitt Cape Cod Homes( built in 1948 ) - of its kind that remains structurally identical in frame & footprint as when the builders walked off the property in 1948- the house remained unfinished- as the builder intended- the unfinished homes were sold for less money & the new homeowner could finish it himself- or like my dad did, over beers with our neighbors dad, Vinny - we had to finish building the small bedroom on the 2nd floor for our soon to be born child- & finished the room in 2009- just like dad & Vinny did in 1974!before that you could see daylight through the beams & there was no floor.
