Need to break lease due to job relocation. This studio is on the 6th floor in a wonderful elevator building in the heart of the West Village. A block and a half to the West 4th subway station (A/C/E/B/D/F/M), also the 1 train at 14th St. 3 blocks in the other direction on 7th Ave. There is a courtyard, laundry in building, live-in super and additional handyman. Both are very responsive. Landlord is also very responsive and proactive with resources like electronic payments. The kitchen was remodeled prior to my move in during April 2019. Ample refrigerator, gas stove and dishwasher. Hardwood floor, large, sunny windows and a fire escape. There is a room for packages in the well maintained lobby. New laundry machines are in the basement. It's super close to a tremendous number of trendy bars and restaurants and the jazz clubs and IFC center on west 4th St. It's a great apartment and I'm sad to leave it. I can show it evenings and weekends. I may not be able to respond promptly during business hours but I will get back to you. If you wish to assume the lease, which is up August 1, 2020, I will provide you with a contact at the landlord's leasing company where you should fill out an application.
