    Orchard St is a lovely place and we experienced great neighbors and great energy from a responsible student population. Our condo is on the second floor of the three-stories building, 28-30 Orchard. The location is within walking distance of Tufts University, local restaurants, and a Whole Foods grocery store, bike/walking paths, and local playgrounds. Buses # 94 (to Davis Square) and #96 (to Davis, Porter, and Harvard Squares) are also within walking distance. Please contact us if you're interested. We look forward to hearing from you. Please note: (1) I did add a virtual tour but the other photos on this listing are obsolete (they are from the time when we bought the place: and while it shows incorrect wall colors: it shows a possible use of the space). (2) The listing incorrectly mentions "Indoor Fireplace." There is no fireplace: although the condo association has an outdoor fire pit that the renter is welcome to use. 12-month lease. Two months rent required at signing (first and last months). Utilities: The owner pays for water. The renter is responsible for gas (stove and heat) and electricity. In our experience, the gas bill ranged from $20-25 in the summer months to $100-130 in the winter months. The electric bill ranged from $48-75 (100% green powered plan). Parking: One off-street space available in driveway, located in rear of building. A second off-street space is available for a smaller vehicle (e.g., small car, motorcycle) in the garage. For a nominal charge of $10, the renter can easily get a street parking permit from the city, which allows on-street parking plus 2 guest parking passes. The renter will share the responsibility of shoveling snow with the occupants of the other two units. Condo has a washer and dryer, both based on electricity, in the basement, and dedicated to the our condo unit (not shared with other units). No smoking allowed in the unit. 1-2 cats allowed. Sorry, NO dogs allowed.
