This is a charming 1930's studio unit in downtown Olympia. It's a studio in that it does not have a separate bedroom, but the old school layout allows for a more spacious feel complete with an area for small dining room table (off the kitchen), a separate make-up/desk nook, and a full-size bathroom complete with full-size tub and shower. The kitchen is much larger than you'd expect in a studio, great for cooking, and includes 2 very deep full-size porcelain sinks. Best efforts to retain the majority of the orginal 1930's charm have been made, so the unit feels charming, clean and bright. Original hardware, tile, cupboards, and even a fully functional JC Penny stove! The unit has been updated with a gas/efficient stove for heating the place, and there's ample storage in 2 large closets large enough for a bike and more, and a 3rd closet in the kitchen. These units sit right on the edge of commerce and residential in Olympia, making it walkable to just about everything, including public transportation, Capital Campus, bars, restaurants, Captital Lake and many other services. A street parking permit is given by the city for residents of the building, meaning, for a small application fee you can obtain limited non-paid street parking near the residence. There is typically no issue with parking. First, last and a security deposit, as well as a background check will be required. A 12-month lease is preferable. As the unit is a studio, and shares a wall with another unit, I have found an individual tenant works better for the space, and as a longer term home for someone No smoking, utilities paid to the city of Olympia for water, sewer and garbage are fixed at $65 per month total for all 3.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Zillow. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.
