Located in the beautiful Ouachita Mountains of Western Arkansas, Mena is surrounded by National Forest on three sides. The area is an international tourist destination and a retirement area. This house is in the historic section of Mena. It was built in 1912 on a large corner lot free of obstructions for easy mowing. One needs to see the inside to appreciate the scale of the house with ten foot high ceilings and six foot tall windows that allow for lots of natural light. The main rooms are on average 14 foot square rooms. The house has it's original wood floors and molding inside yet the windows have been updated to new, double pane.
