Our furnished apartment is located near the 8th Street-NYU stop. It's on the 17th floor of Hilary Gardens (35 floors total), and faces to the east (Astor Place). We have huge windows that allow light to flood the space in the mornings and (laminated) hardwood floors throughout the space. Our bedroom has a king-size bed. The kitchen is fitted with stainless steel appliances--and includes a dishwasher. The bathroom has a tub, which is great for soaking after long runs along the Hudson. The furniture that remains in the apartment is (seen in the photos): a sofa, a TV, a coffee table, a king-sized bed, and lamps. All utilities are included in the rent. The neighborhood is great. Close to shops (SoHo is a 10-minute walk), live music venues, restaurants (Ippudo, Atla, and Bond St), and subways. Also, Washington Square Park is a 3-minute walk. This is a good building with wonderful, professional staff. One of us works in academia and the other in higher education administration. We're subletting the place from 12/21/2019-8/21/2020. Dates aren't flexible.
