    This older home is in a generally quiet downtown neighborhood, just three blocks from the U.S. Park Service's historical home of President Andrew Johnson. A large open green-space is located diagonally across the street, and Richland Creek is located just 60 yards from the front door. For an older home, this unit is in really good condition with many modern features. This house was previously owned by the same couple for over 45 years and used as a single-family house, so this is the first time that this property will be on the rental market. Two very picky ladies have described this house as "very cute" and "perfect for a single person, a retired couple, or a small family." Please Note: This house is not available for Section 8 housing, and the house is not available for multi-family tenants. Home has a shared driveway that leads to a single car, detached garage, but outside parking near the front entrance is probably preferred. Ground level is handicap-friendly with only a small step up onto the porch and into the house. This two-story home, plus full concreted basement with lots of space for storage, has 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath. City Schools. City water and sewer. Modern HVAC serves the main level, but the basement also has a wood/coal stove if you prefer to heat with wood or coal. If, after touring the home, the prospective tenant is still interested in renting, we will do a credit check and a background check. All prospective tenants (18 years and older) will be responsible for paying $50 per adult to have Landlord - not Zillow - complete a background check and credit check. Applications can be emailed to you, or you can pick up a printed application from Sara. You can call Sara and set up an appointment to pick up a paper copy. You may return applications via email or by calling Sara and setting up a time to hand-deliver the application. Either way, leave a message with a call-back number telling Sara that you have emailed or dropped off an application. Email is preferred. Minimum of 1-year lease. $850 a month/$850 deposit, if you rent the house empty, but house currently has many nice furnishing, all of which can stay for rental for the extra price of $75/month.
