If you have looked for a nice place to rent in Texarkana, you know how hard this can be to find. This has been our family's personal house for 10 1/2 years. The owner has a degree in interior design and the house has been completely redone from the outside in. Look no further and contact us before it is too late! The yard is just under 1 acre and is like a park with beautiful Saint Augustine grass, giant pine trees which provide beautiful shade, a sprinkler system and professional landscaping. There is a three car garage and a shop! The entire backyard is in circled with a pretty privacy fence. We previously rented the home prior to purchasing it but fell in love! The master bedroom is located on the south side of the house immediately adjacent to the kitchen and also adjacent to the laundry room. Luscious marble countertops are present in the master bathroom as well as a custom tile shower. A KitchenAid icemaker is also present in the laundry room which adds to the appeal. Two bedrooms and one full bath are located on the north of the house. There is also a large play room on the west of the house. Adjacent to the play room is a large storage closet as well as a guest bedroom and full bath. The central portion of the house has a nice living room area with gas logs. The floors are all hardwood and tile with the exception of the two bedrooms at the north of the house which have newer carpet. The house is conveniently located in the best part of Texarkana. You are less than 1 mile from Morris Elementary or Pleasant Grove high school. Grocery stores and restaurants are also easily accessible. if you have children, they can be dropped off by the school bus system from Morris Elementary and it will be the second stop of the bus! This means you wait on your front porch overlooking the beautiful yard while your kids are delivered faster than most people get through the pick up line at the school! Our only reason for moving is we now have a larger family and desire more space. It is our goal to rent the house for now and hopefully return someday. our family has enjoyed this house so much that we cannot bear the thought of selling it at the current time. This may change, however, if we end up enjoying our new house as much as we have this one. This being said, it is critical that the house is maintained. I will need reference letters for anyone interested in renting. We do not wish to have pets indoors but could consider an outdoor pet for an additional nonrefundable deposit. Owner pays property tax. Renter is responsible for all other maintenance charges including yard maintenance. The owner can provide weekly yard service 52 weeks per year for a total of $250 per month (which is a super-deal for 1 acre). There is a sprinkler system which runs on well water to keep the grass is perfect with minimal cost to the renter.
