Park West, a 55 and older community, is called 'The Jewel of the Desert'. Besides being such a welcoming and inclusive community, it is the only Park with year around heated, salt water pool and hot tub, beautiful new 2 million dollar renovated clubhouse and Ramada with fireplace and grill for large crowds. The views here in the foothills of the Tucson Mountains are amazing, and there are many hiking trails surrounding the Park. It feels like living at a country club! This is a private Park and the land lease is $515/month--this is not an HOA fee. The Marriott is within walking distance (2 miles away), where you can enjoy golf, music and fine restaurants. The local hospital, markets and downtown area are all within a few miles. Our home is a unique part of this community. It is not a mobile home, but rather a manufactured home built in 2010 with many upgrades. It has architectural features that bring interest to the eye. It is close to 2300 square feet and has 4 bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The walls are 6 inches thick, which is great for insulating from the cold and heat, leading to lower utility bills. It is situated close to the clubhouse and pool. We have added a whole house soft water system, new refrigerator and washer and dryer, pull out shelves in the kitchen, a large kitchen island, safety screens on all doors and a split water line so the outside water can be left on while the inside water is turned off during trips away from home. The outside shed now has shelves and a ready workspace. I have enclosed pictures, some were taken before we moved in, so you can see the expansive space.
