About the Apartment We are looking to fill one bedroom in a four bedroom/ 2 bathroom apartment on 2nd Street in Downtown, Jersey City. While it is a four bedroom, we use the fourth space as storage/ a spare room, so there would be a total of three housemates. This would be a 12-month lease that starts September 1. The apartment comes with some great perks, including: 7 minute walk to Grove Street Path and only two blocks from Newark Ave Central Air and Heat Hardwood floors throughout Huge, private backyard with upper and lower level and a grill Washer and dryer in unit The apartment is two levels, with three bedrooms upstairs and one bedroom downstairs. Downstairs features a large living room, with a nice sized kitchen and breakfast bar connecting the kitchen and living room. The private backyard is off the living room and allows for a great outdoor hosting space. The bedroom available is around 7.5 x 17, with an alcove featuring a large closet. It is enough room for a queen-sized bed, desk and dresser. There is an extra closet in the hallway and enough space on the upper landing for additional storage. Rent would be around 1200 per person plus utilities and Wi-Fi. We do have a cat in the apartment, but likely wouldn't be looking to add any pets to the apartment. Landlord will require a credit and background check before signing the lease. About the Roommates We are two single professionals in our early 30s, one male, one female. We are both working professionals who work mostly in the office, but will also have a few WFH days. We like to have friends over every so often and would certainly welcome the same from our roommates. We like to keep the apartment neat and clean. Looking for roommates who are able to keep a tidy apartment, are easy going, responsible and communicative. LGBTQ+ friendly. We pay for rent plus all utilities, including electric, cable and internet.
