    What's special

Buy yourself a little piece of history. Historical Church that has been converted to a residential home. The Church was built in 1887 and is AMAZING..!.. Hardwood Floors, Original Stain Glass Floor to Ceiling Windows, HUGE Steeple with Original Bell all on Large 100 x 132 City lot in the small town of Culver Kansas which is located just a short few miles from the I-35 and I-70 interchange and just a hop, skip and jump to Salina Kansas. Leave her where she sits and enjoy as a home, vacation get-a-way, hunting cabin, B&B or really the sky is the limit on potential use OR buy as an Architectural Salvage and piece this thing out to sell it piece by piece from all the reclamation wood, trim, stained glass, stone and brick plus don't forget the 1880's C.S. Bell Company Bell. The story behind this old church is that back in 1886 when the Railroad came thru, to appease the members of the community for the land grab that took place for the right-of-way for the railroad, the railroad donated money and labor to help build the church in the newly established City of Culver Kansas that was relocated One Mile North from the original location of Town to be a spur on the new Railroad. The church was built by Mr. Rush and Charley Williams as the head carpenters overseeing the work with James Hale and Sol Redding contributing all the masonry work. Work on the Church was completed on June 5th, 1887 and operated as a Presbyterian Church up to 1978. In 2012 ALOT of restoration was completed by current owner including adding newer amenities from updated electrical, plumbing, central heat & air and more.
