Large one bedroom with California King bed and huge windows on two sides enable unobstructed white-water views of Pelican Bay and the Winchuck River Valley. Large full bathroom, large walk-in closet, kitchenette and living room. It is a part of a beautiful house. It is the first floor of the house. Outside of the private entrance, you'll find a Jacuzzi (great for enjoying the sunsets over the ocean) as well as two chairs, to enjoy the privacy and environment; Sleep and go to work or watch for whales or read that book you've been putting off. It's very quiet, with the soft and gentle, but unmistakable sound of the surf below you. In the back are hiking and biking trails extending for miles into the unpopulated California and Oregon wilderness with redwood, fir, tan oak and spruce forests. The beach is accessible by a 5-minute drive below the property. There are opportunities for beachcombing where we actually find agates and shells. You can collect mussels or crabs and cook them for dinner. You can venture to our many redwoods, or two Redwood State Parks located 13 and18 miles to the south. We are 9 miles to Brookings, Oregon where there are great restaurants, shopping, The Port, beachcombing, wind surfing, and hundreds of hiking trails viewing the ocean and the redwoods. We have 4 rivers locally, they are the Rogue, Winchuck, Smith River and the Chetco. This location is perfect for a person who needs to be able to work. The internet speed is great, there is a large desk, monitor and chair. We require full payment before it is reserved. Perfect for visiting nurses. We are 20 minutes to Curry 24-hour ER, and 25 minutes to Sutter Coast hospital. No laundry facilities. This is a downstairs unit of a home. Available to 1-person long term and two for up to 2 weeks.
