The apartment, which can be rented furnished or unfurnished (or something in-between) currently includes a comfy living room with fold-out sofa and television, kitchen with dishwasher, large bedroom facing the garden with three closets, an air conditioner for the summer, and a long table which makes for an excellent workspace. Your bedroom will look out onto a wild garden which you'll be welcome to share (and even design/maintain, if you're an impassioned gardener!). There is no washer and dryer in the unit (though a laundromat with wash-and-fold service is right around the corner from the apartment). The apartment s located on the ground floor of the brownstone I've owned and lived in for over thirty years. It's on one of the best blocks in Prospect Heights: a short walk to Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Public Library, the Brooklyn Museum, two different subway stations, and right around the corner from Vanderbilt Avenue with its many restaurants and cafes. One well-behaved and well-cared for small pet considered on a case-by-care basis. Non-refundable $20 credit and background fee per applicant. First month's rent and one month's security deposit requested as lease-signing.
