Neighborhood Description Great QUIET neighborhood. It's back off of Broad street a ways so the traffic noise isn't bad. The three streets that comprise Rustic Meadow currently are not "through" streets so the traffic in the neighborhood is just from people going or coming from home or to deliver things in the neighborhood. I think it cuts down on traffic a lot because of that. We are on the back street of the neighborhood (farthest from Broad) and the whole street backs up to a 12 acre hayfield (with a church on the end near Miller Rd.). No neighbors back up to us. For anyone working at the hospital this location is really ideal. It's literally 5 minutes to walk up to the hospital, or during bad weather it's a 1min 30sec drive. My wife works up there and when she can walk to work she loves it! If you have intermediate age school children they can walk to Mary Orr without crossing any major streets. For people who work in Ft. Worth, Dallas or Central DFW, Hwy's 360 & 287 are very close with easy access. For other great children's activities, the neighborhood is located about 5 minutes from Field of Dreams and Hawaiian Falls. There is an excellent family owned store 2 minutes away that has beer/wine, a prepared foods counter, an extensive butcher counter and a grill. There are several other family owned restaurants nearby with wonderful food. They are building a Kroger Signature store less than 5 minutes away. We really love the neighborhood. The only reason we're leaving is because of a job change and to move closer to aging parents/grandparents.
