This is a condo/patio home in a senior living community for residents age 55 and older. We are a non-profit community. The organization who holds the deeds for these properties is Village East. Our residents own a contract on the property, they do not pay property taxes, there are no realtor fees or closing costs. The residents pay a $10,000 deposit and the balance of the property is due within 90 days. There is a monthly inside/outside maintenance fee. The only items not covered by the monthly fee are LG&E, Internet, Phone, Cable/Satellite. We do cover Louisville Water/MSD and trash pick-up. The maintenance fee also covers the provision, repair and maintenance of all appliances, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, roof, windows and doors.
