I am a 25 yr old nurse who works at UAB looking for a female roommate, preferably a full-time student or professional. This split-level 2 bed/2.5 bath is located in the back of a Cahaba Heights neighborhood behind the Summit is a 10-15 mins walking distance from the nearest Publix, Winn Dixie, Rite Aide, Magic Muffins, Overton Park, yoga, CVS, and more. Neighbors are mostly over 50 with 3-5 families with children and kind. This house has a beautiful back deck, a shared outdoor storage shed and under the stairs indoor closet, and a small clear water creek just past the fenced yard. There are 3 bar stools in the kitchen to account for a lack of a dining room. The house is fully and comfortably furnished by me (including a nice washer and dryer set) with the exception of the prospective tenant's private bed and bathroom. I own 2 dogs - one of which is my part-time service animal and a German Shepherd so great protection - and 1 indoor/outdoor cat so roommate must love animals! *Please no additional animals. I have a beautiful office that doubles as the dog room I have no problem with sharing if a study space is needed. I am happy to answer any other additional questions you may have. Must be female. You will split all utilities with me (gas, electric, water and sewer, internet, yard maintenance - unless you have a lawn mower, and potentially pest control, etc.). Initial lease term is 6 mos but if it is going well between us then I am open to extending it to 1 year. Must have renter's insurance. I have 2 dogs and 1 indoor/outdoor cat so must be ok with animals. Neighbors are strict so no loud tenants/party throwers.
