A new foundation was laid, new electrical systems and plumbing put into place, and the home restored to its original beauty including custom exterior paints from Williamsburg, Virginia. Then we bought it in 2005. We brought it up to date with top-of-the-line custom granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, in-ground irrigation, a monitored intruder and fire alarm system, Hunter ceiling fans, recessed lighting, plantation shutters, Elfa closets, low VOC interior paints, and a high-efficiency HVAC (installed summer of â??08). Oh: we also built a soundproof recording/art/yoga studio in the backyard.
