The 100 Men Hall is a rare African American landmark on the MS Blues Trail. It was built by the Hundred Members Debating Benevolent Association during the dark ages of Jim Crow and segregation. It is a juke joint and more, it became a Black energy center during its heyday. The historic site is fully restored and operates as a multi purpose venue run by the same nonprofit started in 1894. The hall has hosted performers such as Professor Longhair, Deacon John, Etta James, Big Joe Turner, James Booker, Irma Thomas and numerous others. Check out the Hall, its large lot (0.92 acre), and beautiful living quarters. Super cool!!
