A dining room table has room for meals as well as an after-dinner board game and in the full kitchen you'll find everything you need for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. There are granite countertops, custom cabinetry, and even a dishwasher for easy clean-up. During your stay, you are even welcome to open up one of the bottles of wine to enjoy! On sunny days, prepare a platter of steaks for the outdoor gas grill and dine al fresco. The view is of the quiet neighborhood and is also an ideal spot for a morning cup of coffee or an evening mug of tea. At night, the one bedroom continues the Tuscany-theme and includes a cloud-like queen bed for a good night's sleep. You'll also have a futon for extra sleeping options, if needed. When you do set off to explore, your first stop will likely be Seabright State Beach, along East Cliff Drive, just a 15-minute walk from La Dolce Vita. Look for shells, watch a volleyball game, or just enjoy a romantic sunset after dinner. On the nights that you don't feel like cooking, there are a number of restaurants within walking distance. Visit the Crow's Nest for seafood, or any number of eateries along the Wharf or near the boardwalk. Day trips can include wildlife watching excursions, a trip to tour the University of California, Santa Cruz three miles west, or an afternoon at the Monterey Bay Aquarium - just 43 miles to the south. The nearby towns of Capitola, Aptos, and Rio Del Mar all offer additional beaches, restaurants, galleries, and specialty shops, such as the Annie Glass headquarters in nearby Watsonville, just 17 miles southeast.
