The neighborhood is great! All of the neighbors are friendly, the next block has an annual block party for everyone in the neighborhood. The streets are safe and I frequently walk in the very early morning or at night without any concern. The mountain trails are within 2 miles, Altadena has a quaint business district, but is also only minutes from Pasadena and La Canada which offer more choices.
