Our South of Grand home has been a labor of love to completely restore this historic Prairie design home back to it's original beauty. The home is listed in several Prairie home books which we will pass on to the next owner. Our home has the warmth of history while having modern, clean lines and timeless architecture. The cost of re-creating the original hardwood in our home would cost a fortune today. Every original piece has been striped of paint and re-stained back to it's original tones. With all of the updates this home is truly energy efficient. The exterior french doors were custom made to duplicate the original 1912 doors. Our two car tandem garage easily accommodates both of our cars. Garage door is insulated and has two remote openers. Our backyard will be great for a dog or young kids. It is fenced in on two sides and with two short fence panels it will be completely enclosed. There is a rear entrance to the backyard. All 4 corners of the house has electrical outlets and water valves. The 3 balconies have electrical outlets that can be used for seasonal decorating.
