TL;DR version: Good apartment (1Br, 1Ba, 760 Sq. Ft area) and community, large parking space, great maintenance staff, convenient location, get $800 for renting the apartment we currently occupy. A 760 Sq Ft 1 Br, 1Ba Apt with a Den is available at the picturesque Elan at River Oaks starting May-18. The apartment is in a good condition and comes with the usually expected stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer, and HVAC. It has closets with full length mirrors and the living room is spacious enough to easily accomodate a sofa, dining table, TV stand and coffee table. This leaves the den to be used as office space, play area for kid(s), exercise space, sleeping area for guests or for other purposes. The apartment is located close to the elevator and the patio in the back of the apartment opens into a courtyard. Elan apartments and the sorrounding area is picturesque and is good for taking walks. Elan is located conveniently with quick access to US-101 (~3 miles), CA-237 (~2 miles), I-880 (~3 miles) and I-680 (~4 miles). The River Oaks park is less than 5 mins by walk and the River Oaks Train Station is about a mile away. Northside Branch Library, Rivermark Plaza with Safeway, Thamien park are all only a short car ride away (~1.5 miles). Great Mall is about 4 miles away. Some other things that we like about the apartment and the community: * Gated access to apartments and parking. * Huge parking space. Residents can conveniently park multiple vehicles if needed. * Prompt servicing of maintenance requests. * Free Tennis lessons twice a week. * Free Yoga lessons (these lessons have stopped for the time being). * Nightly food trucks during warm weather months. * Multiple pools and gyms. * Push-carts for ferrying grocery from car to apartment. We currently occupy the apartment and will be moving out in the second week of May. Future-tenants must sign a lease agreement with the leasing office (note that monthly rent mentioned on Elan's website fluctuates daily). However, as we are moving out before the termination of our lease and need to find replacement tenants we are willing to pay $800 to anyone who rents the apartment starting around May-18.
