OUR OPINION: This penthouse is only 1 of 4, and our favorite in the building. The 5th floor unit feels like it is on the 8th floor given that most of the units have double height ceilings. The layout is extraordinary with both oversized bedrooms on opposite sides of the living room, one which sits on the corner of the building facing west and north. The ceiling is roughly 12ft high, ensuring that the home is always filled with light coming in through massive windows. The huge tiled terrace is accessible from all rooms and is tiled and defined by a glass railing. This home has it all...plenty of storage, more than enough space, a huge private outdoor space, and then some. THE BUILDING: The new development stands on McGuinness Blvd., between India St. and Huron St., 1 block from the India access to the Greenpoint G train. The low-rise stands 5 floors tall and features 36 oversized loft-style apartments, mostly duplexes housing over 1,000 square feet of living space with double height ceilings and mezzanines. Amenities include elevator, garage parking for a fee, gym, terrace, and massive roof deck with 360 degree views. This particular loft has an in unit washer/dryer.
