Bought this "capp" home new in 1979. Took two years to finish lived in for 20 yrs then built on mudroom, added vinyl double pane low e windows and seamless steel siding. Also built on 28 x 28 garage which is insulated and sheet rocked. Roof and south side siding replaced after 2011 hailstorm. We have wintered in Arizona for 11 years so only gets half time occupancy. Wife wants to move to Hastings to be closer to friend, relatives and doctors. By the way Zillow's realestate taxes are wrong . It was 1600 last year. Also this house was not sold in02 for 20,000 We are the only people to ever own this home! This home is located along the historic Oregon trail and has a marker in the front yard. There are several large black walnut trees on the property. I have had up to 17 deer on my front lawn and many wild turkeys have also been there until Bart sees them!
