Two unique waterfront cabins located at 306 and 308 West Tenakee Trail in Tenakee Springs, Alaska, are being offered together as a package. Both cabins sit “in town,” approximately 100 yards west of the town center, where you’ll find the ferry dock, natural hot springs bathhouse, Tenakee Market and liquor store, fuel dock, museum, New Moon Café, Chrysalis Café and bakery, seaplane access, and the post office. The harbor and community gardens are located a short distance east, while the Learning Center, Community Center, and Library sit on the west side of town. Cabin #1 is a log structure on cedar pilings situated on a 42’ x 56’ waterfront lot with an open 23’ x 10’ deck, a 10’ x 11’ enclosed sunroom, a 165’ drilled artesian well with an additional water tank, and direct beach access via six steps from the entry-side deck. It features a newer insulated roof (2017), a toilet, Toyo heater, oil cook stove and oven, a small two-burner gas range, microwave, small Cuisinart oven, full-size washer and propane dryer, four twin beds including two in the loft, a camping-style shower setup, pantry storage, STARLINK hardware, a smart TV, and multiple crab pots with lines and buoys. Cabin #2 is a faced-log structure on cedar pilings on a 26’ x 57’ waterfront lot with a waterside deck, an attached trail-side deck suitable for parking a four-wheeler or golf cart, and an additional waterside room. It includes a toilet, separate shower room, shared artesian water and STARLINK connection with Cabin #1, a Toyo heater, bunk bed with trundle, gas range and oven, refrigerator, microwave, and full kitchenware and linens. Although the cabins are being sold together at this time, they are fully separate properties. The Collinsworth family has owned the larger cabin for 48 years and the smaller cabin for 17 years, using them for hunting, fishing, crabbing, and hosting family and friends. The smaller cabin has also served as a studio space for arts and crafts gatherings.
