There is a washer and dryer in the apartment. The building is one of 5 others that are managed together and share a huge courtyard between them. Wonderful neighbors, and friendly atmosphere within the buildings and throughout our little set of buildings. Building also includes a small fitness center for a nominal fee. There are numerous gyms, yoga studios, elsewhere in the neighborhood, as well as the YMCA on 9th street which has a fully equipped fitness center including two swimming pools. The location of the apartment is superb giving you access to the best of Park Slope. Tons of bars, restaurants, and shops on 5th Ave down the block. It is around the corner from a park, with a large children's playground. Also, basketball, athletic field, skate park, and dog run 2 blocks away. There is a weekly farmers market around the corner on Sundays, as well as a CSA run ot of the Old Stone House in the park around the corner. The Brooklyn Whole Foods Market on 3rd ave and 3rd Street, is a 3 minute walk by crossing 4th avenue and walking around the corner. So much is located nearby it is too much to list. Everything from places to eat to 24/hour pharmacies. It is within delivery distance of probably more than 100 restaurants and eateries. Across the street is a wonderful art and crafts supply store, and one block away is a Staples for all your business needs. So much is a short walk away, or quite literally, right around the corner. Access to manhattan is a breeze on either the R train or F,G trains each a 5 minute walk away. The R train is one stop from a large hub at Atlantic Ave/Barclays Center giving you direct access to B,D,Q,N,2,3,4,5 and LIRR. Mornings in the park include one of the largest off leash dog gatherings in NYC. On Saturday mornings there is a green farmers market in Grand Army Plaza.
