(1) ABOUT THE STUDIO: - Well maintained studio on the 5th floor. - Modern kitchen, with open counter, & new bathroom - Furnishings that come with the apartment rental are: Couch (different couch than the one pictured and it may be sold before you move in, TBD), West Elm counter stools, 6-Drawer Dresser, & 55 inch mounted Samsung TV. - Optional Furnishings: Queen bed frame & box spring - Furnishings no longer with apartment: room divider, book shelf, liquor shelf. - Confirming the apartment will undergo a thorough cleaning prior to move in because someone else is currently living there. (2) ABOUT THE BUILDING: - Elevator in building - Laundry in building (on the ground floor) - There is no roof. - No pets - the building doesn't allow renters to have pets. - Monthly electric/gas bill typically is ~$70 from Con Edison, but definitely more expensive in the summer ($100) if you use AC a lot. (3) ABOUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD: - Very close/easy access to Q-train and the 4, 5, & 6 green line. - Equinox & New York Sports Club within one block - Steps away from nicest restaurants and bars in the Upper East Side (4) ABOUT THE LEASE/RENTAL AGREEMENT: - Available for a start date of 6/1 - Monthly rent is $3,000 for 12 months, 24 months is highly preferable. (5) APPLICATION PROCESS & FEES: I've tried to get the building to sunset these, but the refuse (co-ops!). - The entire move-in process will cost you ~$1,770 (see below). - $1,000 - building application fee imposed by the management company (non-refundable) - $500 - one time sublet fee paid by renting tenant (non-refundable) as I pay the other half ($500) - $150 - one time digital document retention fee imposed by the building (non-refundable) - $120 - one time consumer report fee imposed by the building. - $1,400 (security deposit) (refundable). - As most buildings require, there is a decent amount of paperwork required by the building in order to become officially approved. Because of that, I will work very closely with you to make sure the application process goes as smoothly as possible!
