This is the perfect place for someone on budget. You can live one block away from the campus. The Shelby Center (for engineering) is 3-4 minutes (if you take the shortcut as the red arrow in the image), Harbert business building is 5 minutes, Toomer's Corner (downtown) is 6-7 minutes, Chase bank is 4 minutes walk away. You can easily manage without a car here. It is even closer than the student parking zones to the engineering/ business buildings. It is not cramped even being a studio apartment. The price is unbeatable for the location. Many graduate students already live here. I really liked the place and wanted to live here for the coming years. Unfortunately, I am transferring to another school with my supervisor. It is an unfurnished studio apartment. The monthly rent is $350, including water/ sewerage/ trash/ pest control. Electricity is on average $50 (not fixed) per month. Pest control comes every 15 days. You can get the internet up and running in no time calling an ISP of your choice. Parking is included with plenty of spaces; you will get one parking tag for free. There is a one time application fee of $275 (non-refundable) and a security deposit of $225 (refundable). The property manager has a no pet policy. They will check your credit history or might need an proof of income. Once you take my lease I'll give you $50 as a token of 'Thank You'. The lease term is from August 14, 2020 to July 31, 2021.
