The duplex is walking distance to Buffalo park close to downtown, and has easy access to Humphries Peak and trails on the north side of town. The room for rent is $870/mo plus a $800 refundable deposit. The utilities are around $60-100/mo each plus half the internet (~$50/mo each). The common areas are furnished, there are a washer and dryer, wood fireplace, some garage space for gear etc., a side yard, off-street parking if needed, and a little front yard area. The room comes unfurnished with a closet, and there are also a few storage areas throughout. Your Housemate: I'm a 36-year old outdoorsy woman. I love hiking, mountain biking, and other adventures. I am a former biologist and a current mental health counseling grad student. I'm an introvert-extrovert, communicate easily, happy to self-entertain, but also enjoy my handful of quality friendships in the area. I get along best with people who are somewhat intellectual and/or creative/adventurous and who have a love of life while being responsible adults. Looking for: A clean, respectful, responsible housemate who can clear employment and rental history, and background checks. This rental is a month-to-month sublease. No pets allowed per lease requirements. Someone who has healthy boundaries (especially with substances - no hard drugs or excessive substance use) and social-relational interactions (no drama). Someone who is ok with occasional visitors but overall treats the home as a quiet place to relax. This is a fairly quiet neighborhood (I can hardly hear the train!), the duplex neighbors are super nice and my landlord is great.
