If you love older buildings with great woodwork and big spacious rooms with high ceilings, this is for you! The bedrooms are hard wood, rest is carpet. The kitchen has new hard wood laminate flooring. It is well maintained. I live upstairs so I am looking to rent to a responsible, quiet, clean, and friendly person that I can get along with. I must stress that being considerate and and respectful is a must and you will receive that same treatment from me. Since I live here, I can usually take care of issue right away. I prefer not to have animals, but it can be negotiated if I can meet the pet (extra monthly charge of $50). This is a nice community oriented neighborhood with lots of family living around with two great schools within walking distance. The well developed Pleasant Ridge square is a one or two minute walk. There are lots of great new restaurants, pubs, breweries, and businesses a block away! It's like a mini-Hyde Park. You will be able to park in front of the building at any time and in bad weather, I am willing to allow parking in my back driveway. There is a washer/dryer you can use at no cost if you don't have one, but it would be better if you had your own. It has a beautiful side yard that has a porch and is fenced in for privacy. Neighbors are wonderful. I do require a credit and background check along with previous rental history and an income disclosure. It has a large basement if you need storage space. I pay the water bill but you will be responsible for paying for your own gas and electric. A/C units in main living space and one of the bedrooms. Heating is a gas furnace with force heat to all rooms. There are also plenty of closet space in both bedrooms. I will be updating the front foyer floor, all carpet and putting a new shower in and sink faucet. We have recently painted the rooms with some nice colors because we have been living in both units unlit now. If you want to paint a room a different color, that can be worked out. Finally, we currently have our own furniture down there that we planned on putting into storage, but if you need a furnished apartment, we could also negotiate some or all of the furniture for you with an added monthly fee.
