As I drive onto the tree-lined property of Radisson, life's stresses seem to fade away. Living in Radisson includes over ten miles of walking paths, ponds, a swimming pool, tennis/basketball courts, playgrounds, a championship golf course, and even a community center. It is truly a wonderful place to live. I have been putting improvements into my townhouse for over ten years. Now that everything is finally done, I've decided to move! The reason is simply because I now have two grandchildren that I want to live closer to. YOU can now be the beneficiary of all of my work! Here are some of my projects, ending with the most recent. You'll notice that many of them involve saving energy and therefore driving my gas/electric bills down to $119 a month on the “budget” plan: *new roof and skylights (2001). *converting my wood fireplace to gas. *lowering the cathedral ceiling in my entryway, making a flat ceiling that is well-insulated and therefore stopping ice buildup over the front door. *blowing insulation into the attic. Also, importantly, opening up plugged soffit vents, increasing the volume of air that flows through them. Again, less ice buildup. *re-doing the insulation on the sill plate in the basement. I filled many gaps that were potentially a path for bugs to enter the basement. *adding three windows to my living room and one in my bedroom. Gotta love the light! *installing hardwood floors in the dining area and hallway from the entrance. *brick pavers on the front walkway and to edge the foliage in the courtyard and by the deck. *opening up one side of the deck to add a wide set of stairs into the yard. *replacing the sliding glass door onto the deck. *painting the outside of the townhouse (2007) the same time as my wonderful neighbors. *new carpeting in the living room and bedroom. *re-painting all of the interior. *installing granite countertops in the kitchen and putting on a backsplash that includes some glass tile accents. *new refrigerator, gas stove and microwave. *new toilet, tub/shower and flooring in the bathroom. Ceramic tile around the tub. *put a “solar tube” over the bathtub. So much light now, it feels like you're taking a shower outside! *new toilet in the ½ bath. *replaced windows in the dining room and increased their size. *replaced windows in both of the bedrooms. *replaced the wood decking with “Trex” composite decking. * put “Trex” composite decking over the concrete steps by my front door. *new garage door. As you can see, I've been rather busy. Please stop by and you can see the quality of my workmanship. I'd be happy to answer all of your questions. Don't forget: the big bonus of this townhouse is that it sits in the awesome community of Radisson! Call Bill for more information or to schedule your private showing. 315-638-4361
