Charming little apartment located in an up and coming neighborhood located close to downtown across the street from a really beautiful historic church. There is a cute bistro table with an umbrella on the stone wrap around front porch that has a fantastic view of the church. Technically, I think it is a one bedroom-but the last tenant used both rooms as bedrooms-one for her and the other for her 2 boys. Since they are exactly the same size in design and both rooms feel like bedrooms. So 2 people/students who are busy and on the go could really save some money if they rented the place and used each room as a bedroom-or it would be the perfect size for just one person as well-who wanted just a bedroom and and living room. The amount of space is really all anyone needs and is perfect for someone who doesn't have a ton of furniture. Plus-since the heat is electric instead of gas-it saves money because you don't have to pay a separate gas bill in the winter. It is on the third floor-so there are some stairs you need to walk up to get there-but once you are there-it is a pretty neat and cozy feeling-like you are in a tree house. There is a security door and security cameras on the property. (The last tenant was a single female would was 5 foot 2-so my handyman is very protective and he installed extra security features for her to make sure she was as safe as possible...-but basically-this unit would be way to much of a pain to break into because there are so many security features-Plus my handyman lives up the street and drives past the place on a daily basis-so that is nice as well. It is close to the brand new SunFresh Grocery Store and the YMCA if you are into working out and is close to public transportation. It is on a corner and across the street from a beautiful church. The next door neighbors are theater students and one is a nurse-so they are nice and have a beautiful urban garden with sunflowers and fresh tomatoes which they bring over as gifts on occasion.--They are nice, liberal and just good people:) It in located on the corner and is close to public transportation. There is a fenced in yard in both the front and backyard-So it is ideal for someone who has a dog. We like cats too ) Background check for all potential tenants is required. No prior evictions accepted. We are a small operation-so we need someone who has a steady source of income who can pay their rent in a timely manner-just like any of the other rental companies. I am seriously over renters who have a ton of excuses and no rent. If that is you-keep on looking.... We are nice and we expect the same from our tenants. We are a small time operation-so I am just looking for one good person who wants a decent place to stay. It is not perfect-because it is an older home-but it is charming in its own way and is great for someone who wants a decent roof over there head at a reasonable price.
