This "Texanna" style home is located in the quiet, serene community of Wheelock Texas, Robertson County, just a short drive from Bryan-College Station and Texas A&M University. Before beginning construction on the house, the Cavitt family first built a small, rugged cabin which still stands on the property today. The home hosted many prominent visitors during it's operation as a stagecoach inn, including Sam Houston, a longtime friend of the Cavitts. The home received it's Historical Landmark Designation in 1964. Renter responsible for trash service, electric service, and water service. Septic systems - no paper products allowed in systems. Renter must maintain existing flower gardens & grounds. 1st & last month rent up front. Single family dwelling only & 2 vehicle maximum parking in designated area. Some inside pets & outside pets allowed. May not be used for shops/yard business. No loud parties or excessive guests.
