Oval Beach on Lake Michigan is less than two miles away in one direction and is just a quick bike ride away. The nicely landscaped patio overlooking the lake with only bees and humming birds for company was a perfect place to read. Easily accessible walks to Lake Michigan through densely wooded residential areas was exercise enough. Downtown Douglas and Saugutuck are no more than 5 minutes away and made for lovely breakfasts, lunches and dinners, overriding previous plans to stay in and cook. >The pictures did not do this condo justice. It was very large, plenty of room for a family. The view of Saugatuck Harbor and the boats was the perfect setting. We look forward to our next opportunity to vacation in the area.
