Neighborhood is very safe because of complete fenced yard, police one block away, 2elementary schools within walking distance, Warning signs to slow down for school and buses that use Delaware street to go to and return to schools. Bus picks up right in front of 315 South Delaware Street. 3 churches within walking distance City Library, City Hall with new Splash Pad park, Police Station all within 1block and Fire department not much farther. Restaurants, banks and small businesses have been built in recent yrs on Cherokee Street (Main Street of Catoosa) also Historic Route 66. Also a large grocery store is on same side of highway now within 1/2 mile so could be in walking distance. Catoosa Auto is on Corner of Cherokee Street and is Catty Corner from house on Delaware Street. It is owned and has been for 30+years by mechanic who is also on the Fire Department as the chief and very willing and able to help with any emergencies.
