1924 Mission Revival bungalow that was made into a ranch-style home in the 1950s with the addition of some decorative brick and new modern windows etc. We are attempting to return it to its Mission roots with new doors/windows, removing the concrete faux-brick, refinishing hardwood throughout & new paintjob. Neighborhood Description this is a wonderful, diverse, tree-lined neighborhood that is in shade much of the year from the pretty and enormous trees - you don't find places like this in the suburbs, that's for sure! McKinely Park and its library, sports fields, etc. are a few blocks away, as is the bike path (2 entrances within a 5 minute bike ride), schools, a small bodega a half block away, etc. Wonderful neighbors, and we are thankful that the city has not paved our alley - that would increase traffic tenfold and we don't need that!
