Main basement has hydrostatic pressure issue which results in water coming up thru the slab. This creates mold which is isolated to the main basement. We used it primarily for storage and a 2nd refrigerator and freezer chest. We have a heavy duty de-humidifier on 24/7 which keeps the mold in check. The two full bathrooms do not have a functional shower. The only functional shower is the standing shower in the hot tub room. This rental would be perfect for a contractor or a weekend DIY'er (with a family) like myself. Aside from the one functional shower and some missing trim work, the house is enjoyably habitable. If you're a contractor, DIY'er or a handy guy/gal, this rental would be perfect for you and your family. If you decide to rent and renovate the house at your leisure, we can definitely work something out. If not, I intend to finish those bathrooms soon. If interested, ask about the possibility of rent-to-own. I never wanted to move out of this house or sell it. But work brought me out west. I put a lot of hard work, blood & sweat into it. My kids and I truly enjoyed living here. We miss it everyday. If you feel you're the right tenant or the right rent-to-own tenant, don't hesitate to ask questions. Nothing is written in stone.
