Have solar which leaves me with a monthly bill of about $20. Have had solar since July 2009 and get about $1300 of power per year. Attic of house has insulation plus is lined with Aluminum foil to reflectthe heat outward in the summer and reflect the heat inward in the winter or keep the heat from escaping. Gas is the heating in this house as well as it is used for cooking and water heating. Normal gas bill is in the upper $20 range. May go up some in the winter depending on how cold or how long it is cold outside. Metal shed is Alcoa Steel and is 30 Ft. by 40 Ft. I have a 9 Ft. deep x 20 Ft. long x 10 Ft. swimming pool. House sets just about true East and West so that the sun goes almost squarely over the top in the summer which reduces the heat allowed to enter the house. In the winter it shines in the southern side windows which heats up thehouse helping to reduce heat costs. The two car garage has been closed in allowing for an extra 400 Sq. Ft. area to be use as a den, computer room, game room, etc. Floor in this area is tile and the walls and ceiling are insulated. This area also has the attic covered in Aluminum foil. Lots of electric outlets thru out the house with recessed lights in all rooms. Carpet in bedrooms, tile in rest of house. Tile counter top, painted inside and out. Double pane windows. New dish washer, new clothes washer, new water heater, new water softer, new kitchen gas stove, and new garbage disposal. House has solar foil in the attic to reflect the heat down in winter and reflects the heat up in the summer. Attic has storage space above the den room (was the two car garage). House is set up for Cable, Dish, Direct, Cox, etc. Pool is closed down and drained due to lack of use. 5 ft, Chain link fence around 3/4 of property. Has a place to park an RV or Trailer with 50 Amp power outlet. Trees on east and west side of house are fruitless mulberry about 8 years old. Graveled driveway.
