Big Victorian house that had been very grand about 15 to 20 years ago. Sadly, it was sold and converted to apartments. When we bought this old house, we were going to basically finish it and sell it. This house has had many updates in 2014 to present, including new sewer and water lines all the way to the city water lines. New toilets in the bathroom, however we do not have jet tub hooked up yet. Laundry room has new walls flooring and fresh paint. Kitchen had the major overhaul. It was 2 rooms but we made one large room, put brand new cabinets and 2 new islands. Brand new stainless steel Samsung stove and fridge. New stainless range microwave I believe it is Frigidaire. The upstairs has 3 bedrooms. One is quite large the other 2 are medium sized. All 3 have good sized closets. The upstairs bathroom has new toilet and new sink. Haven't replaced the bath yet and we haven't replaced the walls because they weren't bad. New sheeting for the floor. New vinyl flooring. Good sized bathroom closet with a door. Downstairs master bedroom has new walls and ceiling beautiful stomped white ceilings as in the downstairs bath and kitchen. Also has a back porch room with concrete floor. 2 porches on this big old home, the basement is creepy and still has the Victorian big steel boiler in one of the rooms . Basement generally stays dry unless it rains for several days straight, we've had to run sump pump maybe twice in almost 3 years. Yard is decent sized and we have done some landscaping or prettying up the front yard. House has nice 2 car detached garage, it has even got paneling on the walls. Only room really left to completely do is downstairs living room. But with work schedules being what they are, time is limited . This house also has a hidden staircase and a maids quarters . It is very old needs a little TLC to be one of the prettiest on the block. Nice neighborhood everyone is mostly nice and mostly keep to themselves. Great for hunters who live out of state and come here to hunt big bucks. We Want to sell and downsize to something that is already finisned. Running out of time and energy and the drive that we once had to finish this house.
