I will tellsome history instead of description. For many years it had been the home of the Rudolph Itz family and he had run a saloon in there from the early 1900's until probation laws put the saloons out of business. It is listed as "Herman's Saloon-- A popular Men's Resort". By the 1930's it became known as Itz meat market. In 1944 the building was ran as a beer distribuorship from this location. In the 1940's it was sold to another family that restored the entire building. Its use is a B&B and is in superb condition, it has two courtyards with room to exspand on this huge property. The building is made of historical limestone and the front is made of"Rubble Rock" which was plastered over to give it a finished look. Please take a close look at the history of Fredericksburg, Texas. The pictures I have taken are true in life and show this wonderful property in great detail. This is a great buy to use as a B&B, office, restaurant, or great investment. If your in town give me a call to see.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Zillow. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.
