The FREE Johns Hopkins Shuttle stops about 1.5 blocks from the house and gets you to the front doors of the Johns Hopkins Hospital in about 20 mins (depending on traffic) and is quite reliable. The shuttle also stops at Penn Station which makes getting to Mt. Vernon (bars/restaurants), DC, or the airport - even with bags - quite easy. If you DO have a car, I have an off-street carpad, so you will never have to look for parking after a long day. 2. 3BD/2BA. There is a master suite with a newly renovated, high-end master bathroom. Apart from this master bath, there is another full bathroom on the bedroom floor. Plenty of space for a guest bedroom and an office. The master bedroom is huge and used to be 2 separate bedrooms. 3. If you have been to Charles Village, you must have noticed the Hopkins Security SUVs patrolling the entire neighborhood (including the alley behind my house). I have never felt unsafe in my neighborhood, and I walk everywhere. 4. Proximity. Within 2 blocks, there is a CVS with pharmacy, Eddie's Market (groceries), and a number of new restaurants. There is a Giant Grocery within 15 min walking distance. There is the Waverly Farmer's Market every Saturday morning also only a 10 min walk away. It's lovely. You can also walk to another great neighborhood - Hampden - in about 25-30 minutes. A scenic walk through the Hopkins undergrad campus and the Stony Run Trail can also get you there. Tenant pays for all utilities.
