It is walking distance to Logan Square and is less than a block away from a lot of great entertainment, including Sleeping Village and Warlord. But it is just far enough off of Belmont that it is quiet at night. I live in the upstairs unit, so I would know. The place is a duplex with two living rooms and two bathrooms. There is in-unit laundry and central heating and AC. There's also a really quaint communal backyard with a pear tree that gives us delicious pears every august. And I keep the backyard stacked with plenty of furniture. As you can see in the photos, there is a ton of natural light on the first floor, and open spaces throughout the house. It is 3 blocks from the highway, and near the 77 and 56 buses, which are very reliable (I use them often). It's a 10 minute walk to the blue line, and half a block from a divvy stop. The unit is currently furnished, but it does not have to be. This is a very pretty, very walkable neighborhood. A lot of schools in the area and a park around the corner. I have spent many nights walking through the neighborhood, marveling at the houses and relaxing. I feel very safe here, and I think you will too. Owner pays for water, tenant pays for gas and electricity. No cigarette smoking allowed in the unit. Parking is optional. There is an option to take care of yardwork and snow removal for a $50 reduction in rent (or just yardwork for $25). If you like to grow plants, the garden is completely fair game, as well. Just talk to me about what you want to do, and it should be fine.
